Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

On this sacred occasion of Eid Ul Adha, I extend my heartfelt greetings of peace, compassion, and unity to all our Bangsamoro brothers and sisters, and to the entire Muslim Ummah across the world.

Eid Ul Adha is not only a celebration of faith and sacrificeโ€”it is also a powerful moment of reflection. It calls us to embrace the values of obedience, selflessness, and solidarity, as embodied by the story of Prophet Ibrahim (Alayhis Salaam). May this day remind us of our shared responsibility to one another and to the most vulnerable among us.

As we gather with our loved ones, I appeal to every Bangsamoro to stand together in unity and cooperation. Let us continue to strengthen our shared efforts toward peace, good governance, and inclusive development in our beloved homeland. The success of the Bangsamoro rests in our ability to walk together with compassion, respect, and a firm sense of collective purpose.

I also issue a sincere call for greater support and reverence for our eldersโ€”the foundations of our identity and the silent heroes behind our continuing struggle. Let us ensure that they are never left behind in the path of progress, and that their wisdom continues to guide our decisions as a people.

Amidst our celebration, our hearts remain heavy for the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Palestine, where thousands of innocent livesโ€”especially childrenโ€”are suffering under a relentless genocide campaign by the Israeli regime. On this holy day, let us raise our voices in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and pray for their liberation, safety, and justice. The pain of every mother who loses her child, of every orphan, and of every grieving family in Gaza is a pain we feel in the Bangsamoro, where the scars of conflict are still fresh in our memory.

May this Eid Ul Adha deepen our compassion, strengthen our unity, and ignite within us a stronger commitment to justiceโ€”both in our land and around the world.

Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum. Eid Mubarak.

Wassalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
