ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat, July 2, 2026 – The Office of Member of Parliament Abdulbasit R. Benito distributed Students' Kits, Teachers' Kits, and Medical Kits to selected Madaris in Isulan and Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat as part of its continuing commitment to support quality education and promote the welfare of Bangsamoro learners and educators.
The beneficiary institutions included Mahad Nuru Rasheeda, Mahad Khaleed Adden, and Kalipa Madrasah in Barangay New Pangasinan, Isulan, as well as Madrasah Ali Abdullah Al-Islamiyyah in Sitio Kamanga, Barangay Laguilayan, Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat.
Students (Murit) received educational kits containing essential school supplies to assist them in their studies, while Ustadz were provided with Teachers' Kits consisting of instructional and office materials to support classroom instruction.
Each Madrasah also received a Medical Kit containing basic first-aid supplies to enhance the schools' preparedness in responding to minor health emergencies.
The distribution activity forms part of the Office of MP Benito's continuing efforts to extend educational assistance to Bangsamoro communities, including those located outside the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) but which continue to serve Bangsamoro learners.
School administrators, teachers, parents, and students warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed their appreciation to MP Benito for the assistance extended to their schools.
They noted that the support was provided without regard to political considerations, reflecting the Office's genuine commitment to ensuring that Bangsamoro learners receive assistance regardless of their geographical location.
