Cotabato City, June 20 – In response to the directive of Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua to fast-track the passage of a key legislative measure, Member of Parliament Abdulbasit R. Benito has been actively participating in a series of public consultations across the region. The bill aims to reapportion the 73 districts from Sulu in preparation for the historic 1st Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections, scheduled for October 13, 2025.MP Benito, known for his strong advocacy for inclusive and participatory governance, has joined communities on the ground to listen to concerns, gather insights, and ensure that the proposed reapportionment reflects the true voice of the people.“These consultations are vital.
