Cotabato City, May 11, 2025 — Political Affairs Officer III Datu Ahmed U. Tadtagan, representing the Office of MP Abdulbasit R. Benito, participated in a focused group discussion on the draft "Bangsamoro Assistance for Inclusive Development Act of 2025" at Paragon Hotel.
Authored by MP Hussein P. Muñoz, the bill aims to provide institutionalized development support to Bangsamoro communities living outside the BARMM. Now on its 9th draft, the proposed legislation reflects broad support and collective input from various legislative offices, including a moving account from MP Baiali S. Karon that underscored the bill’s cultural and historical importance.
Tadtagan’s presence highlighted the Office’s active role in shaping inclusive policies for all Bangsamoro people, regardless of geographic boundaries.
