Cotabato City — MP Abdulbasit R. Benito attended in the recent Bangsamoro Parliament session, which tackled several vital bills, including Parliament Bill No. 100 seeking to upgrade and relocate the Datu Alawaddin T. Bandon Sr. Memorial Hospital in Tawi-Tawi.
He also took part in discussions on Parliament Bill No. 350, which aims to expand the Dr. Serapio B. Montaner Jr. Al Haj Memorial Hospital in Lanao del Sur, and Parliament Bill No. 356, proposing the establishment of the Tawi-Tawi Maritime School.
As a member of the Committee on Finance, Budget, and Management, MP Benito expressed strong support for these initiatives, highlighting their importance in improving healthcare access and education opportunities across BARMM.
