Earlier today, Member of Parliament Abdulbasit R. Benito convened a staff meeting at his office to align and prepare his team for the upcoming legislative sessions of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA).
The meeting was both productive and purposeful, with a full agenda that reflected MP Benito’s commitment to effective governance and people-centered legislation. It opened with updates on the MP’s recent activities, highlighting accomplishments and engagements in the past weeks that have helped strengthen his advocacy for inclusive development and community empowerment.
A key part of the discussion focused on priority legislative measures that MP Benito plans to file upon the resumption of session. These proposed bills are aimed at addressing pressing needs in the Bangsamoro region, with a strong emphasis on social development, access to public services, and institutional reforms.
The meeting also included an administrative reorientation for the staff, ensuring clarity in roles, functions, and protocols moving forward. Strategic planning was conducted to set clear directions and streamline the team’s workflow, while matters concerning human resources were carefully discussed to foster a more efficient and supportive work environment.
MP Benito emphasized the importance of unity, transparency, and dedication in the team’s work. He also expressed his appreciation for the staff’s contributions and encouraged everyone to continue working with passion and purpose.
As the BTA prepares to resume its legislative duties, MP Benito and his team are clearly laying the groundwork for a term defined by meaningful action and service to the Bangsamoro people.
